Property Clean-Up: Ellerslie, Auckland
The Garden Team were asked by Andrea of Ballin Street Ellerslie to give her large property a garden make-over.
Andrea has trusted her work to be carried out by me and my team for a number of years.
She has two lovely fish ponds in her front garden which required cleaning out. The means fishing out a lot of green slime, seeds from the overhead palm along with a pile of decaying leaves.
All the gardens needed proper weeding (not just pulling the tops of the weeds but getting the roots out where possible too).
There was a large yucca plant with a huge base that required chain sawing down and the stump grinding which meant a lot of wood chips to clean up.
We filled our trailer with 680kg of green waste having removed almost 400kg of leaves and weeds from the garden beds and pathways and using our eco-friendly STIHL hedge trimmers and mini chainsaw we pruned some of the bushes back into shape.
We also sprayed herbicide (weed killer) to finish off any of the weeds that got missed along the way.
